Firefox crashes with youtube videos

Why do certain videos go mute, and I have to restart every few minutes

Firefox on iOS. How do I disable refresh? Most annoying in the middle of a crossword. It reverts to last saved version causing me to start over. IOW changes not remembered. And, no, going back a page doesn’t work.
